Finally arriving at the highest point in the surrounding countryside, you move down a long path of majestic fir trees along what was once the ancient Roman Road.      These captivating stone structures built over the 13th to 15th centuries make up what was once a Medieval hamlet and still exist today as ‘Manoir du Mur’ and its adjacent

out-buildings. This historic site has been lovingly renovated in keeping with its architectural and historical integrity, while at the same time offering 21st century amenities.

     Manoir du Mur includes four fully furnished ‘themed’

self-catering apartments, a Medieval Dining Room/Hunter's Lodge, an 'Assembly Room' with stage, cinema, and fully equipped kitchen for catering, an extensive English library,

an ancient outdoor bread oven, an artist studio, and a 'Knight's Chamber'.  When renting the Manoir in its entirety, whether it be for a retreat, a corporate conference, to run a workshop or for a family wedding celebration or reunion, all of the above mentioned facilities are included.
