        hether it's a  party, conference or seminar, we at Chateau Le Mur are happy to do what ever we can to make your event a success. Following are our additonal facilites on offer, to be rented separately, or utilized when you choose to stay with us. We can also aid you in catering an event whether you choose to make the arrangements yourself or through our relationships with caterers and vendors in the nearby villages. The Medieval Hunters Lodge

This intriguing room has been historically known as

'The Hunters Lodge' and therefore the name has been kept and the  theme embellished! Located wihin the Manoir, it is a comfortable venue for smaller groups and workshops. The room boasts a fireplace and a small kitchen area with microwave and coffee maker. The large 'Medival' style table seats 12 'Knights' comfortably!

 

 

 

The Medieval Assembly Hall

Our 'Medieval Assembly Hall' is a multi-purpose room that can be used as a lecture hall, cinema or party/wedding venue. It is  equipped with a full bathroom, a large bar area and connects to both the English Library and communal/catering Kitchen.

The Communal/Catering Kitchen

The large communal/catering kitchen has a lovely stone fireplace and is a fully equipped kitchen. This room has become known as the 'Communal Kitchen' as it is made available to groups who are renting the entire Manoir, and would like to cook and have meals together. The room also boasts a full size professional cappuccino machine and can be used as a meeting room, venue for cooking classes and of course for catering of all kinds of events.

 

The English Library

The English library contains hundreds of titles, as well as CD's and DVD's. You are welcome to avail yourself of reading material during your stay, both fiction and non-fiction, and on a variety of subjects. CD's and DVD's can be signed out and arrangements can be made to utilize the 'cinema' when you would like to see a film on the 'big screen'.
